spam

You must fogive this fossil but i have noticed a few times the word spam
now to me spam means Special Prepared American Meat,but what is it in computer terms and blog i thought you got that when your nose was stuffed up
anyone help this computer fossil ????? :pale:

We tend to refer to spam as people posting purely to advertise their businesses without joining in with the general chat on the forum.... or people posting links to dodgy sites that could cause damage to your computer... p0rn/gamblng sites etc.

Please do be careful when clicking on external links - I generally don't click on a link unless it's from a member that has been posting for a little while.

or SPAM can mean unsolicited commercial email.

www.spamusement.com has a load of cartoons from a bloke who got sick of all the spam he kept recieving. it's a safe link, I don't link to anything potentially damaging cos i dont want to get sued.
