Dead goose

Hello,
Sad thing this morning ... one of the geese died ...
She didn't seem too well for the last 4/5 days as she was staying appart from the rest .. but I thought they were starting to get in couples/tio for the breeding season (ducks started laying 4 days ago) ..
She seemed off her food buut was drinking .. so I kept offering food but she wasn't really eating it I think ...
I thought she would start laying or something ..
but this morning, she went for a drink, then moved in the field ... I was feeding the chickens 2m away .. and saw her flick on her side and twitched for a few seconds .. 20 sec later she was dead in my arms .. and some liquid came out of her mouth ... watery like ....
any clues what could have caused it ?
sour crop or some sort ? or should I be worried and contact the vet office for an autopsy in case of some stupid scare ?
Everyone else looks fine, except a dodgy duck ( walking problems since we got her last september), that drowned in the pond 2/3 days ago) .. clearly a murder by a goose as I saved her once from drowning like that.
Any quick thoughts would be appreciated in case I need to contact the vet or someone ?
and remember that I'm in Ireland, not the UK.
Thanks,
Camile
