Apparently BT aim to produce 25% of their power requirement by 2016.

mutter, mutter - tokenism at it's worst.........mutter mutter, leaky old grid........just so they can go on wasting energy........mutter mutter!
100% in 2 years is what they should be aiming for - all generated close to where it's used!
Please Mr Chamberlain, stop waving that bit of paper - you can't appease ecological armageddon - you take it seriously, NOW (if not yesterday) or mankind dies out........that blooming simple

Meanwhile I heard on the Today programme this morning that
Seven of Britain's 16 nuclear reactors were out of action this morning.
And the government wants to build more of these time bombs
We need to invest more (much more) in renewables of all types and the government needs to remove the beurocracy surrounding the microgeneration and energy efficiency grants.
The big companys can do more than they do, they just want to wave a green flag, but they don't make any serious attempts to adjust their practices.
And thats with out even mentioning BRITISH telecom outsourcing most of their jobs to India, putting people in Britain out of a job, and upsetting loyal customers in one fell swoop... well done BT, thank goodness for privatisation
