New pig on the block

Daisy, our new Berkshire sow, has
finally arrived on the croft after a long delay due to FMD restrictions. Her dam was runner-up in the Interbreed Championship, Devon County Show 2006 and Champion Berkshire at the Devon County Show 2006.
Daisy herself is in pig to a boar that was Reserve Berkshire Boar at the Royal Show 2007; 2nd Berkshire Boar (born before 1 Jan 07), Royal Show 2007; and Reserve Champion Berkshire at the Devon County Show 2006.
We're hoping for some really good piglets from Daisy to give us a second unrelated boar to Graham, and possibly a gilt to keep from.
And on top of that, she's another sweet, amiable pig!

A real lady of fine breeding.
Do you have to call her Ma'am

Delilah is the princess of our herd.
Then there's Doris the pragmatic sow, Dolores the Latin floozy, and now Daisy - the good looker to be found at the Boar's Nest.
