How long will it keep?

I have been having a look through all the wonderful recipes posted on here and have decided to give this one a try;

I was just wondering how long it would keep for, as I am planning on putting it in with a selection of other chutneys/relishes as christmas presants?

Ooh - I'm quite complimented that you want to try it!! lol. I think that with the amount of vinegar and sugar in it it should keep quite a reasonable amount of time - the trouble is I don't really know as it's always eaten really quickly in our house!! It's so easy to make I'm sure that if you make it close to christmas it won't take up too much time. Good luck and enjoy!

I might give it a try tommorrow and leave some of it to see how long it lasts, but, as you said, I can always do some nearer the time if needs be, Thanks for the recipe!

I was given it by the pest control officer at the council and he was given it by an elderly lady with a wasp problem!! Funny how these thing happen! lol! I'd love to make it a bit more often only the amount of tomatos can be hard to come by when I don't have the facility to grow them my self

But we are working on it! I have wondered about making it with tinned tomatos tho - hmmmmm - I feel and experiment coming on!
