				I dont' know why they're being ageist...
Possibly because of where the winner gets to go - maybe you need to be fitter? (I'm not saying that older people aren't as fit - my dad's fitter than i am...).

				Maybe it's to encourage younger people to use their 'year out' or whatever to better themselves and the environment, it is more like a scholarship, most scholarships arn't open to the older... achem, more experienced 

  folks of this world.
Also it means that if it is really successful they can say in 20 years time, 'Joe Bloggs' started his scientific career with us. That is assuming that Joe Bloggs creates an emission free form of air travel... or something.

				All I can say is that I am humungously relieved that I am too old to go on a Club 18-30 holiday! Deffo a worst nightmare scenario!
