shortness of space

my new house (3 weeks or so now!!!) has a very large utilit room which i am planning on sticking a freezer in, along with the washer and my desk. I can shut myself away in there when james is at home so that I can do more work.
now here's the thing; the washer does not cause any humidity changes as we never use the dryer facility on it (it SUCKS)... but i was thinking of having an indoor washing line for wet weather to compliment my clothes horse. i just need to know, owuld this cause too much humidity for my compoopter?! if it would then I'll rethink the space.

I am more of an expert on drying washing than I am on cooking
(edit to say, I meant computers, not cooking, I have no idea what is wrong with my brain
) but I'd say yes, it can get very humid where washing drys inside I would not risk it, especially when the computer is a source of income (and a lifeline to 'ish'

)
I guess you don't have a laptop

which are way more eco friendly, maybe consider getting one if you ever do a big upgrade.
Either dry washing somewhere else or put your desk somewhere else... sorry

I often dry my washing in my laundry room and it doesn't get too humid in there. But I do keep the door to the house open, plus there is a window into the carport which is always open slightly so there is plenty of ventilation. I think you'll have to wait and see how humid it gets and then make a decision. Perhaps put the computer somewhere else for a while.
Another option is to get a dehumidifier. They cost about £100 (so would be cheaper than a new computer) but they have the benefit of warming the air slightly (or rather removing the water stops it cooling down) and you can re-use the water to flush the loo or water plants. You would only need to run it for a short while when you have washing hanging up and it would help to dry the clothes.
