How about an I made it section?

Post: # 65754Post possum »

There are lots of very crafty people out there, it would be great to have an area where people could show off what they have made, or post up how they made something.
Not just crafts, but things like cloches they have made, a wiget made from recycled whatever.
Basically anything that could be useful or pretty.

A small section on crafts would be good; basketry, weaving, spinning, woodwork, that kind of stuff.

After all, having lots of food is good but you can't wear jam and potatoes.

Please, no suggestions of where to put them.

well I noticed after I put the original suggestion up that there is the section
Home Brew, Preserving, home made and crafts
which could possibly suffice, as if you made it, I guess it comes under the category home made, but I was thinking of a place for also showing cloches you have made, a novel use with a bit of adaption for a plastic bottle, a gaget you have devised from something, anything at all really that others could be inspired with, not just that falls under the heading of crafts.

Actually, I've just had a look over there and it's all about alcohol, pretty much!!!! I would be really keen on having... "look what I made" section.... Coz I'm a show off!

Arts and Crafts - look what I made???

Summit like that.

OK guys I will mention this to Andy and the others and see what they say. It does sound like a good idea - a chance to show off a bit!

If you can just hang on a few more weeks because Andy is busy finishing off his book - then I am sure there will be a new section as the other mods like the idea - but we don't want to go mucking around with the layout/sections of the forum...... just in case we muck it up! :pale:  (Actually I'm talking about me, the others are probably a lot more competent than I am! )

Yippee! Thanks Andy - I forgot completely to draw your attention to this, as I know you've been somewhat busy!
