Hi Millie. Congratulations. That is the most orderly vegetable garden I have seen for a long time. Well done.

I have to say that really is a small garden, but good on you for your veggie patch. If you get desperate for containers how about just planting up some carrier bags with compost, there is always too many in the world, so you may as well use em.

Hi Millie
No it's not the smallest garden but it is one of the neatest. I envy your complete lack of weeds, well done!

I am experimenting at the moment growing potatoes in a couple of old car tyres. They seem to work well as containers and your local tyre repair place will bite your hand off it you take them. There is a bit of concern that the tyres might leach unpleasant chemicals into your veg though so that's a risk you will have to consider. Also, you'll find it really difficult to get rid of them if you do take them but if you are staying put then not a problem.

Cheers
Zoe

It looks great!

Where did you get all the containers from?
Are they made up like earthboxes?

Would chemicals leech into the soil though?

I initially used old toy boxes but when they ran out I bought 97p value boxes from T. I have some round tubs in the garage which the peas are going into and I shall grow them up string.
