Eggy strawbs!!!

Post: # 62035Post urbanwookie »

Hi,

We've just had an unfortunate experience with the first of our strawberries. A lovely big ripe berry that I (fortunately) broke in two to share with my better half...and had a distinct odour of rotten eggs!

Any clues why? These were plants in hanging baskets recently bought from the orange DIY place.

I mean...eggy strawbs!? It'll never catch on....

Can't say as I've heard that one before......... Even if it was fresh egg taste I don't think it would catch on!
