Ok, perhaps one of the most useless 101's that there has been so far. Although I am sure that we will get to 101 this month (well next technically as it is in 1 hour), I thought we could try this one and see if it is as easy as I think it will be. Actually I suppose it could be useful for any expecting mums.

Presumably John, Ian, Jack, Euan, Sean, Jan, Shane, Jock and Ivan all count as one choice?

National variations of the same name.

Ian, Euan and Jock are Scottish versions of John
Shane and Sean are Irish variants
Jan and Ivan are, err... from other nations

Nev

Oh, I must warn you that Nevin is also a female name in Turkey, which has resulted in outraged stares and nervous giggles from Turkish taxi drivers when I have paid by credit card.........
