I may have found some turkeys
I want them mainly as pets so not interested int he traditional meat breeds. I have found some very unusual ones from a top breeder/exhibitor who can also give me guidance as to breeding results and genetics. I can always buy poults of a meat breed to rear for my family and friends Xmas dinners. Watch this space.

i had 20 turkeys a few years ago, they were great to look after, but they can drop dead for no reason we eat most for x-mas but i kept 2 as pets. they lived a happy life in the field with my chickens too! until the fox struck one night and had the lot

my past turkeys never dropped dead luckily and the last pet one I had lived to be around 14 years old.
