Look what I found this morning - a giant solar cooker.

This one is near Sevilla in Spain and boils water to create steam, drive turbines and generate energy. That is essentially the same principle as Nev's solar cooker, isn't it, except on an industrial scale?

Yup Wulf! Same principle as the reflective solar cooker, just a slight difference in scale  .

There used to be one in France (I think) somewhere that was used as a furnace and got to phenomenal temperatures. Five zillion mirrors all focussed on the side of a building. Impressive!

Hi.
This was on the TV this morning. They were saying that one was built in Mexico in the 70's or 80's. Shame it's taken so long to pick up the idea.
