new selfsufficienter

Had my baby on January 29th. Had to have Caesarian so have had little energy to stagger upstairs and go on computer, much less try to grow anything! Am bf though, so I suppose that is selfsufficient! Little blighter was a footling breech - preferred pushing and shoving the first one out, much less hard work!!!

Good to hear your still out there!
Congratulations! Our first was full breech (bum first) but natural delivery so Mrs Wombat was pretty impressed. Couldn't get near her again for 6 months!

He was 8lb 12oz (no idea in new money), and as said, footling breech, so no option of natural delivery, even tho they only spotted he was breech at 39 weeks! Lucky I didn't go into labour, all these midwives saying "oh yes, the head is well down in the pelvis," when in fact it was shoved up in my ribs!
Recovery is a nightmare compared to natural birth, mainly because my tummy is solid, while the swelling goes down. so I can't even force it into "normal" clothes, and have to endure the maternity stuff for a bit longer (I'm so vain), and it is so much more exhausting recovering from an operation rather than a process.
However, I'm on the mend, young Harry Andrew is learning to be a trampoline for his older brother, and sleep was always a thing of the past, so no change there!

A home made trampoline for BB, thats Selfsufficientish
I had a 8lb 11oz girl in September and had a seriously bad natural birth experience, there has already been talk of the 'next one' (lol) maybe HAS to be cesarean but if it is really that bad I will have to think twice about it.
Hope that you are taking it easy anyway and congrats.
