new person saying hello

We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

new person saying hello

Post: # 46115Post missy »

just thought i'd introduce myself.

my name is victoria, but my friends call me missy (i'm often on forums as missy or missysx)
i'm 25 years old. i am a mother of two boys who are 4 and 6 and i'm also a freelance photographer, specialising in a motorsport called Drifting.

i found selfsufficientish a while ago, but only just realised today that it has a forum

i have found some of your articles very intersting.

my family are attempting to live a greener lifestyle.
a year ago we did hardly any recycling, where as now we recycle most of the items we throw away. we use 100% recycled toilet paper, reuseable shopping bags and energy savelight bulbs where we can. i've even started to use ecover washing up liquid...
and my project for 2007 is to grow my own veg, so i am currently waiting for the weather to improve so that i can make a start on my veg garden!

if you want to see how i progress with it during the year.. i have started a blog of which i'll do regular updates (link in my sig).

anyway, enough rambling on...

You can add your own avatar too... it shows up beneath the Ish avatar... hey... and once you've posted 500 times you have finished your rite of passage and can just have your very own avatar!
