101 personal hells!

we all have our own vision of hell - I thought it might be fun to stick your tongue firmly in your cheek, and define your own personal hell!
For me it might be something like:
Being encased in a heavy suit, collar and tie, and being destined for all eternity to wander some ghastly grey shopping multiplex, with the "air" that catches your throat, Robbie "flat as a pancake" Williams scraping his fingernails down an eternally looped blackboard in the background, the fluorescents that jangle - a heavy stench of artificial musk wafting out from the 24/7 "Boots", interspersed with the waft of chip fat from the "donut shop" - all those strange, pale people wearing indoor shoes - empty eyes - dead souls on the eternal quest for the empty dreams sold there....... :geek:
Trouble is, ALL shopping malls are just like that - hell on earth! :cooldude:

Something very similar to you, actually.

Trussed up in a skirt, blouse and heels; hair coiffeured; long polished nails; crammed onto the underground; having to be polite to folk just because they are 'senior' to me; only seeing my kids as I rush out the door in the morning or tucking them in at night; big steps an' litt'luns on the streets; car exhaust; no birdsong; lunchbreak;

Ugh - gonna stop now, giving myself the jitters

no garden. No plants. no greenery.

That's pretty much hellish for me!

I'd go with all of the above... (apart from the Robbie Williams bit cos I think he's good - full of himself yeah.. but a great entertainer)

I hate the smell of the LUSH shops.. they are even worse than the Boots shops... vile!

Sitting on the beach on a windy day.

Trying to get the kids to get dressed when they are still half dry and the sand is still sticking to them.

Going to the dentist.

All of the above except the dentist. Mine is quite cute so I don't mind going (except, have you tried flirting with someone who has his hands in your mouth? )

Oooh, I know that feeling. A few weeks after my ex walked out on me, I had a dream that he came back and moved back in. I woke up screaming! I think that was when I realised that I was better off without him

Joke:

Q: what's the best revenge against the woman who steals your husband?

A: Let her keep him

Oh yes!

Cheers

Being shut in a room with holyoaks on loop in the VCR arrgh! AND NO OF SWITCH............the horror

Disneyland-manufactured, artificial captive environment....telling kids how 'magical' this plastic facade is when real life contains its own miracles the kids are blind to.
Yeuch horrible place containing all the worst elements of our modern society.

kind thoughts

Another vote against the ex-husband!

Also, having nothing at all to read (I live in a book town - there is no such thing as too many books!)

Anywhere without my hubby & son would be hell.

Aside from that, having to live back in the UK with the stresses of everyday life would be a living hell for me. Having a 9-5 desk job again - makes me shudder just thinking about it!

Oh, and no Stella Artois to be seen would be horrendous :drunken:
