I have identified an ornamental quince or chaenomeles in our new garden, and its laden with fruit, which are now just turning golden so should be ready.


what should i do with them? anyone have any good recipes? they are very fragranced. Nigella has a recipe for quince brandy... but OH doesn't drink so maybe i should think of something he would like to?

arg. My late next door neighbour made beautiful quince jelly. unfortunately she didn't leave the recipes behind!

Quince jelly is lovely though!
