Martin started this off really with his moaning about Melvin Bragg.
In our celebrity dominated culture we have plenty to choose from so who goes in your room 101?

That tall arrogant guy with curly hair and jeans who`s on the telly saying how great fast cars are and how stupid green people are --
AAARGH I can`t remember his name!
Oh yes, Jeremy Clarkson - I must have blotted him out.

My list grew too long, so...
5. Anyone who appears on television more than twice a week, including re-runs on cable and satellite.

Noel Edmonds
Eamonn Holmes
Tony Slattery
Anthea Turner
Graham Norton
*Divina Macall (& everyone and anyone remotely associated with Big Brother anywhere - Pluto is not far enough away)
and not forgetting
Bruce Forsyth
Robert Kilroy-Silk
Jerry Springer
Oprah Whats'ername (IMHO, that South Park episode was way too kind)
Delia Smith (proof that being rich doesn't make you happy)
*On the other hand, why give any of them more publicity?

I met him once, Dave's band supported him in the Roadmender Centre in Northampton. We got him to play a little thing for us, I am not entirely sure what happened but I think someone took the p*** and he stormed away. LAter the management decided that Dave's band would not be paid. - despite the audience they bought in and the work they put in.
So I agree with you unless Rolf coughs up! Come on Rolf you owe Dave some money.

rolf is the anti christ sent to destroy art and culture through the vulgar medium of television.

I hate to demur, but Rolf's live performance of "sun arise" to a packed Glastonbury Festival a year or so ago was quite magical!
Most weather girls should be in room 101, along with their ghastly "suits" (last seen worn by maiden aunts circa 1952!). There is a particularly annoying one down here in the south - looks like a horse, and has a voice of unbelievable harshness, who shrieks her way through the forecast - at the end of it, you sit there going "now what's the weather doing?", having quailed under the auditory assault!
