2lb of cherry plums

Yesterday i went cherry plum picking
Today, 6lb of the plums are going into jam,.
This leaves me with just over 2lb left.
What do i do with them?

Eat them
How about a pie or tart or something, you could make a couple and freeze one. Imagine coming home from a partcually bad day at work in the freezing cold winter, summer just a memory and then remembering the plub pie in the freezer - instant summer memory! Well just a thought.

I made a scrummy apple and cherry plum crumble which was very well received the other night

i found sone green plums that were a bit sharp, so i made green adn cherry plum jam with them.
going picking again soon though, to make a few tarts and pies...and there are some apple trees nearby too, so i might end up getting some apples to add to some of the pies.
