Tetra Pak compost
I have heard thart you can compost tetra pak's, not sure about this I imagine that you must need a big heap to generate enough heat.
Does anyone compost tetra pak, or have any information as is would save at least 3 packs a week ending up in a landfillm

As far as I am aware, tetrapak have a thin film of polyethylene inside and out which will not compost down. Over here we can recycle them, which is what I do.

They don't recycle it here either, which is why I asked about composting!
I buy organic milk and they seem only to sell it in tetra pak containers.
What is wrong with the milk bottle I ask you. Maybe we should try an all out compain to get it back?

the daily pinta is still delivered here, the only difference being the car is no petrol driven instead of being electric ,and it is a LOT more expensive than supermarket milk, but they still take the bottles back, and respond to little notes on the doorstep.....they also do orange juice and eggs, but I think it's a big conglomerate now rather than a local dairy
Haven't seen a milk bottle in Aus for years, but in my last job used to do work in Christchurch (NZ) and they still have 'em!
