Just been digging again this afternoon, I kept finding little translucent balls that I think are slug eggs. They were mostly clumped in with the roots of weeds. I destroyed all tat I found.
On return I thought I am not 100% that they were slug eggs and could have been the eggs of something beneficial.

Yep thats the ones, I thought I was right. But not had anyone varify it so cheers.
Over the last week or two I think I could have collect enough to make slug caviar. Can't say that it really appeals to me though
Just glad that I am getting rid of some of the slug population now rather than when there are plenty of things for them to chew on.

I would think that it should all be OK to compost
