Productive day today,used the last of my summer fruits and made a batch of mixed fruit jam, cherry brandy and damson gin.

Sounds great. Unfortunately the birds got all my cherries just as they ripened. They must have been sitting in wait.

Still picking white grapes for sultanas, I would think we are about half way through.
The black grapes were finished a few weeks ago, not such a good crop as last year for some reason, but we have just over a Kilo of raisins from 7 Kg of fruit.

Yeah, birds got most of my (very few) cherries, too. But I left the red currant uncovered this year for the birds - I can't use them all anyway.
