Butterfly

I saw a type of butterfly I'd never seen before - it was quite small and a blue-green (or green-blue) colour - does anyone know what it's called?

It's the Small Blue Green, called the Small Green Blue in some backward rural areas

And quite edible especially if dipped in batter and deep fried

We always call it the small Green Blue where I am, there is no batter here in NW Ireland, but it is often deep fried and served with a guinness as an alternative to tato crisps

It was that type of shade, although I don't recall exactly now as it was a while ago. I'll pay more attention if I see one again.
