Gurgle, splurt, cough and splutter!!!!

The sounds coming from our water system here at the moment. David has the hosepipe out ARRRGH think that we won't be able to use that again.... If I turn the taps on the water is splooshing everywhere and there is all sorts of crap in it.... bits of insects etc. Fine for the garden but not fine for the shower/washing machine etc.

Just a moan really. Got some oil drums to convert into water butts - think that job just became urgent. If anyone has any hints and tips for doing this please do pass them on.

It's eased somewhat - had to run water from every tap in the house to clear it AND it's stopped the pulsing... still lots of air in it though...and bits of insects too YUM!! It's stopped the pulsing problem that we were having recently though.

Just waiting now - there is a grant that we can apply for that came into force a couple of weeks ago BUT they haven't got the paperwork yet so can't send us any. How blooming stupid and inefficient is that??! Bloke is all geared up ready to do the work. I must check to see whether we could claim the grant retrospectively or something. Really fed up of this water situation now.

Hmmmm had a shower... water pressure dwindled to a point where I wondered whether someone had a tap on elsewhere in the house... they didn't... turned the tap on after shutting the shower off and it went all spurty again.... need to check our water level GOD I hope we aren't going to run dry.
