Some friends of mine are hosting this workshop if anybody's interested:

Harvest Home - a pot (pottery not the other kind) and food workshop on 15th and 16th September 2012 with top potters Joe Finch, John Hudson, Peter Smith and Josie Walter

Join us at Upton St Leonards in the heart of the glorious Cotswolds for a weekend celebrating our country traditions of making and cooking.

Featuring two separate days of expert led specialised masterclasses to choose from:
Saturday food workshops to include bread making, slow and wild food recipes and preparation
Sunday pot workshops covering throwing and building forms and varying methods of decoration

A Saturday evening feast is planned with food prepared and cooked in the open air using historic techniques. Hand made breads and other food will be cooked on site using wood fires ovens.

The weekend is inclusive of all daytime catering and materials, and includes informal slide talks and have-a-go sessions for those less experienced in making as well as a wild food forage on Saturday.

Event to be held at Taena Pottery, Whitley Court, Upton St Leonards, GL4 8EB http://www.taenapottery.co.uk

Delegates may choose to attend either or both workshops

Cost: food or pot workshops £75, weekend rate £145 (additional fee for Feast)
Easy access from M5 junction 11a - free camping available

For a detailed brochure or to book e-mail info@cotswoldsliving.co.uk or call 01242 602319

Cheers
Zoe

I did wonder

Sounds like a fab weekend - unfortunately a bit too far away for me.

Wish I could - but I am giving a feltmaking workshop that weekend, down the road in Nolton. Sounds like a great event, I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks. There is a chance that I might be summoned to attend catering duties! I did their last event a couple of years ago and it went really well.
