A Real Meal

A nourishing meal was prepared and consumed in about forty minutes. Most of the ingredients are from the garden, and purchased items were previously prepared, except for the mussels, which are one of my rare indulgences.Half the Walla Walla onion (no sting) and half the mussels were used. The only condiment was salted butter as a dip for flavouring the mussels. Annotated photographs depict the effort.

No offence to Frozen TB and others from the Antipodes, but I don't like those big chewy bi-valves they palm us off with.

Durgan, a man of your calibre must be able to forage for some local beauties in that Garden of Eden you live in over there.
