I only got the conditions to plant these 2 weeks ago & now most plum & cherry trees are flowering & mine aren't I take it that means no flowering & fruiting this year right?

Not necessarily.What size? What variety? How old?Are they bare root or containerised.?.......sorry about the 3rd degree.

I assume you have only just planted them ?
If that's the case, you really don't want them to flower this year. They need to get stuck in and grow a healthy root system in their new position and forget about fruiting, so if they did flower and set fruit you would (should) really have to pick them off, which goes against the grain (for me anyway)
See, by not flowering they have saved you a dilemma.

Neither my cherry or plum are flowering yet and this is a warm part of the country. Rhubarb still not showing yet either.

Way too early for fruit blossom - some of what you may see flowering right now are ornamental Prunus, not the edible ones. Anyway, what Odsox says is right, so for this year don't worry about it.

It very much depends on the variety and location (where in the UK and where in the garden)

About 50% of my almonds are now in flower, and they are in an north facing open field. Whereas my one almond up against a wall with wind protection and in full sunlight has been in flower for over a week.

The early mirabelle type plums (small yellow) are in flower, also some cherries you can just see the colour of the flower in the bud, so they will be out in a couple of weeks.

As with all fruit they can have a wide flowering range, cherrry varieties typically can flower within a 30 day band with the Bing, Rainier and Van varieties as being mid of that band.

If they are new bare rooted then it is possible you will only get leaves, especially if only maiden trees or maybe the feathers have been heavily pruned for 2nd and 3rd year trees etc.

Rootstock has a marginal effect on flowering, but only by a few days.
