Hi All
I have about seven pairs of outgrown kids wellies, that no one else wants and the charity shop will not take. How can I recycle these please? I was thinking about planters for alpine strawberries or something like that.
I would love to hear your ideas please.
Thanks Nikki

Organise a wellie wanging contest...
Make a foraging bag

Planters.
Bird feeders, (Cut a D shape from over the toe and fill from the top with seed, the toe acts like a hopper feed) Make sure you cover the top end of the boot with something like the bottom of a pop bottle to stop rain getting in.

My youngest son was very upset that his old tatty too small wellies had to go so they are now on the kitchen windowsill with flowers growing in them.
Could you freecycle them?

My husband made some birdhouses out of old childrens' wellingtons. He put some scrunched up chicken wire into the toe and foot, cut a hole in to side for the birds to go through and made a lid with a hanging basket liner. I would put a picture of it up but i need a small child to show me how to do something like that and they're all at school!!

I'd use them as cute plant pots too, or perhaps on a more odd note, storing pens and things in?
