Ive just been down to my allotment to do some "pre winter tidying" and found a half decent crop of strawberries, some green too so i will be eating them next week as well! I was quite surprised!

The weather recently has certainly encouraged plants to flower unexpectedly.

Stunning, isn't it. I've still got alpines, although that isn't all that unusual. They keep going until the first frosts.

I was given some white strawberries at the weekend. They were lovely. I must keep an eye out for some plants.

Would you like some white Alpines Zoe? I have myriads of them which I need to sort and can dig up a clump for you.

Still plenty of fruit on them as always - a nice treat whilst pottering in the garden :)
