Ummm - wasn't really sure how to title this thread but we've had a couple of chicks with splayed legs and have struggled to set them right... any hints and tips from an expert???

I'm no expert Shirlz, but I did find a couple of sites showing how to make splints to correct the problem. Spraddle Leg is another term for it.Also move your chicks to somewhere with a non slippy surface as this makes the problem worse.

splints do work! - we had a "pet" chicken who broke her leg - careful work with lolly sticks and tape kept it immobile while it healed - she was fine!
