Hello Ross and welcome to our little corner of the net, as I see this is your first post.

When dry they will shrink a bit so don't worry, just use them. I'd suggest returning to the tree in week and getting a few more.

Thanks Andy

I have since returned to the tree and got more, once dried should I remove the head for storage or do you leave bract on for tea making purposes

My flowers are dropping all over the place from one of the limes and the other kind which is behind is literally buzzing with bees. :flower:

I came accross loads of lime trees in this park in Warrington the other day (can't remember the name of it) but all the blossoms were dry and shrivvelled, or just didn't look that appealling...does this mean the trees could be diseased, or is there another reason for it?

There's a tree outside my stepkid's mum's flat but the blossoms are all too high up for me to pick :( (I'm not much over 5ft...)

I think the flowers were over Sarah, that's what they go like when they are finished then they drop all over the place. Looks like autumn under my trees!

that's a shame! I'll have to remember that spot for next year and go a bit earlier...
