I know it's kinda late, but does anyone know where I can get some seed potatoes to plant this year? Preferably soon?

It is a bit late. I'd think, although it's "not the done thing", that your best bet is the supermarket. Just ordinary spuds (not new ones) - select the variety you want and get them planted. As they're (I assume) maincrop, you don't need to chit them before planting.

Our Wilkos still has lots in, quite a few in the half price bit.

If you buy some supermarket spuds to grow, I would give them a good wash as they have probably been sprayed with a sprouting inhibitor.
(need more incentive to grow your own, spuds and chlorpropham for dinner ?)

Thanks, will take a look at Wilkos and then if not, will get some from the farm shop (rather than the supermarket) as they might be less likely to be sprayed.

Wilkos up here dont have any. BUT, managed to get some Pentland Javelin from a warehouse type place near me, that I have discovered also sells chicken feed - every type imaginable. So when I get my chickens (soon, I hope) I know where to go for feed.
