Hi All
Do any of the Wiltshire Ishers have any fertile eggs that they would be willing to sell me please? One of my chookies has gone broody and the thought it might be an interest project for my eldest ( well me really shhhhh ?
I have looked on flea bay and I really do not like the idea of them getting bashed in the post.

Thanks Nikki

I have bought eggs from ebay in the post, and they were fine.

problem with postal eggs is the can get shaken up and the air sacs damaged. i have successfully hatched eggs sent via the post - but they were sent special delivery (means the eggs are not thrown around quite as much.

if you do go the postal way, i would recommend a friend of mine http://bellecrosshens.blogspot.com/ - she uses special delivery and we have had good hatch rates from her eggs.

What a shame Nikki, we got rid of Clive the cockerel (to a very nice farm) the other day, otherwise I would have given you some of ours. But we have ordered them in the post before no probs - just order a few more than you need to compensate for the duds.

Good luck!
