Hi,

Today I'm planning the Pumpkin Carving Spectacular with my children. I was just wondering - the stringy pulp that we scoop out from the pumpkins, and all the seeds - can I just chuck all this in for the chickens to devour? Will it make them ill in any way? I know I should do something worthy, like make pumpkin cupcakes, but I can't be bothered. It would be much easier if the hens could just clear it all up for me

Our neighbours grow loads of pumpkins and always feed them to their chooks. Yours will love it!

Mine turned their noses up at cooked pumpkin puree this year.
