raised beds

About to start putting some in to the garden. Any links for info. or advice that people can give regarding the best way to start, would be really, really appreciated. Thinking mostly about best materials etc.

If you're near Leebotwood SBS have a big old yard full of scrap type matierials.I really like stuff like old armco (cut with angle grinder) or condemned scaffold planks.For me,if your creating a new veg plot you cant do better than the RHS little green paperback on veg gardening,part of the RHS' guide to 'series.

Thanks for the tip - I was wondering where a good place to get scaffolding planks might be.
