Not sure if its in the right place or not (I can't seem to find a misc section) anyhow I keep on seeing this little bug in the house, keep kicking them outside and yet I find another one a few days later - what is it please?
What ever it is, it is only a few mm long and that photo is fantastic I think lol

Pets will do, as although I don't know what it is, it sounds like it wants to be friends with you

. I think we normally put insect things under 'Wildlife'.

Yep, I think it's a 'wooly bear' too.
To try to eliminate them spinkle bicarb over the affected carpet, leave it for abot 1/2 an hour then vacuum it up thoroughly. The bicar will take any smells out of your carpet too. (most of which we humans can't smell, but bugs etc can)

Wooly bear. My granny used to spread salt and lavender flowers on the carpet for an hour or so and then hoover up.

I'm sure you've already done this - it is a Woolly Bear, and that's the larva of the carpet beetle. Vacuum thoroughly, thoroughly, thorughly - wherever you saw them.
