ok so I went to get some latex gloves from my husbands stock and he'd run out so I thought that I am only looking at some for interests sake so what harm can I do... Suffice to say I will never that mistake again!
Lemon juice might help a bit but it is a fairly permanent stain (my jeans will attest to that) but skin comes off thankfully so it won't stay on your hands forever. Tip to remember for the future is not to try to get walnuts out of the green casing without wearing gloves. I know I've done it too! 
New skin is probably the solution. It may take about 10 days to return to normal. Walnut is sure one amazing stain. My walnuts are not ready yet, and I expect to harvest about 1000 to 2000 nuts, and will use old clothes when doing so, and many latex gloves.welshmum wrote:
