ok this is my 1st post (apart from my hello post),so hi and please be gentle, decided to go on my first forage today, spent 5 hrs walking along footpaths, dipping into little clumps of trees, walking along the shore, all this with great expectations of the wonderful feast i would eat tonight, alas i chickened out, the only thing i ate was 1, yes 1, blackberry and even that made me feel guilty. :angryfire: i did however take a bunch of photos, so if anyone would like to help a noob identify anything from them it would be most appreciated.

hope that link works, (p.s, they were taken on my mobile phone, i aint no photographer).

thanks in advance

Hi Mike lovely part of the country!
Spotted some elderberries - will ripen up soon!
Hawthorn - never tried 'em
Think pic no 4 is honeysuckle berries - I've a feeling these are not edible.
Sloes - ready in a month or 2
Apples - give it a month and then taste one
At least now you know what you've got around you
Keep it up

Ben

Looks like you had a nice walk. :flower:

The lamb is edible.

Photo no. 27 is what I commonly call 'greek plant' - I don't think it is edible, it's a lovely flowering succulent plant that grows beside the seaside but succumbs to frosts inland.
