You made a note a while ago about muscovie eggs being lower in cholesterol - where do I get proof of that? I admit that I am not an expert, but I've been all over the internet but no luck so far.

Apparently the pond is not the most important thing.
* Muscovies can mate on soil and in water.
*Being able to dunk their heads or a shallow puddle is more important than swimming.
*Babies should be kept away from water - they drown.
*In places with very cold winters even adults can die when becoming waterlogged.

Since I live in a semi desert area, mine will waddlle to their hearts' content, but alas, no swimming.
