Maybe an injured foot or toe - they bleed quite a bit but heal quite quickly and often with no limping to give the injury away.

Sorry, I have no idea... other than just keep an eye on them and if any of them start showing signs of ill or of being bullied separate her from the group and get a more experienced keepers opinion.

Sounds like a bit of a bloody poop but if they aren't showing any other signs of illness I don't know what can be done.

I have found small blood splashes in the hen house before, without it turning into something nasty. I think sometimes its a scuffle for the best perch spot (a pecked comb can bleed a lot for a teeny cut), also when chickens come into lay for the first time, there can be a bit of blood.

Me too, found the odd splash on the perch and can't find where it came from! We've had a duck who trod on her own foot and scratched her webbed bits and one who ate something sharp and cut her tongue and they bleed a lot from tiny scratches! I think we worry a lot more than they do.

Sorry Richie, can't add any more than the others, but it has happened to me and my girls have always been fine.
