My next project is laying a recycled brick path and raised beds for my allotment, it also helps jane get around more easy.

i might get caught out with the weather befor its finished though

in the brick holes i'm going to plant chamomile and let it spread should smell wonderful come summer.

I'm sure it's going to look great, but may I suggest you fill the gaps around the bricks with sharp sand otherwise the slugs are going to love their new appartments.

That made me giggle!
Good stuff Russ

it must be trendy at the mo to be laying brick paths in your veg patch as this is the 2nd thread this week on said subject!

Hurrah for you! That is a lot of path there- can't wait to see the finished product.. much bigger than mine but I am secure enough within myself to not feel threatened:)

Brick paths are very ish and you can collect bricks over a period of time and build as materials allow.Im not above coming home with a few stray bricks and last boat trip saw me land back with half a paving slab.Ive a good collection of bricks and block pavers stashed for summer use and will ad to them if I get the chance.
