Dry seeds?

Probly a very a daft question with a blindingly obvious answer but how do you dry squash/pumpkin seeds?
I eat a bloody ton of the stuff a week, specially as it's two huge ones for a quid in the green grocers atm, and it always seems daft to throw away the seeds when they are so expensive in the shops.

Well funnily enough I have just put some aside to dry - in answer to your question I have no idea but just did what seemed (to me) to be obvious! I picked the worst of the gunky stuff off the seeds and just spread them out on kitchen paper to dry - the next day they were a bit stuck so I pulled them off and now they're on clean paper and drying very nicely - still got a few bits of orange stuff stuck on them but I don't think that'll matter.
Given that they germinate everywhere from my compost I don't think I need to be very fussy anyway.

Oh hang on, do you mean for eating or for growing? If for eating ignore the above as I haven't a clue but I think there was a thread here about it some time ago.

eating
But to be honest I was pretty much just going to do that, wash off the goop then put them somewhere warm and airy on kitchen paper. Then if that did'nt really work just roast them and see
