Hi all
I am working on making the day to day running of my vectorization business run completely on renewable energy.
The easy bit is our end. I need very little energy to run day to day, a bit of lighting, a laptop and an extra screen and that's about it.
The company is web based so i am looking for a 100% renewable powered UK based with UK servers web host
Any ideas?

well, funny you should ask that.
ME !
I rent a server that runs Ish (and other websites) and it is a "low power" machine, it uses 2
Intel Atom (dual core) processors. with 2GB of ram and a raid array (2 drives) and remote backups, It is a nice little machine that uses much less power than a 'normal' server.
And I found out the other day that rental prices are going up, so your timing is good.
while it could be greener I don't have the sort of cash needed to setup my ideal green server farm at the moment, but if enough people want server space I can provide.
PM me let me know what you are after.

nice, they seem to have stack of servers co-located with
http://www.centri.net/products/secure_h ... rvices.php
but the minimum rental is 20u's and that space is 5 grand a year (and that is before you buy the servers!)
my server only takes up half a U
