im unsure where to put this so feel fre to move mods
i have sent my 3 pigs off to slaughter and they are coming back thursday,
i do not want the heads or offle from these 3 pigs, so they are up for grabs, i just cant bear to think im eating their heads, but there will be some very good dinners on these if your into this sort of thing
im not one to waste good food, but the thought turns my stomach
these need to be collected from derby DE56 area asap after thurdsay
They "WAS" british lops, fed on a good heathly diet, lots of windfall fruit and plenty of veg, outdoor reared, had a good life right to the end
FREE to a good hungry family

Oooh you'll get all the Cornish up in arms saying that!

I think it depends where you buy your Cornish pasties from (it's supposed to be lamb) and if you buy those revolting supermarket ones then I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole either!

I'm tempted, I know my hubby would jump at the chance, but I'd have no idea what to do with a pigs head! or how to butcher it, or how to get rid of the remains

I'll have a word with hubby this evening, it'll be him who has to cook it up if he wants one, I'm not sure I could. I'll also ask my sister as she might be interested if thats OK?

traditionally they are made with beef skirt. nothing offal or rubbish going into a Devonshire.. or Cornish pasty
