Is it possible to grow Kidney Beans in the UK?
I bought a packet of them yesterday and thought I would have a try.
Thing is,they must have to be treated like runner beans or french beans so I suppose I'd have to plant them outside in May and put in supports.
Has anyone tried this before who can give any advice?

I haven't tried it - but I'd say go ahead and give it a go none the less.
What have you got to lose!!??

well I think I'll stick some in modules indoors and some in the ground in may. That second link was useful shirlz as it said 95 days to maturity and that they are bush type (so a bit like french beans I should think).

These are no problem and can be quite high-yield. I've got a different sort of drying bean called "trail of tears"... I'll let you know how I get on in the autumn.
