pullet - young hens
cockeral - rooster under 12 mths
when a pullet first starts to lay the eggs are smaller than hens eggs. noticed one of the supermarket brands selling them as kids eggs.

Are there lots of people out there thinking that baby goats lay eggs now, I wonder?

Actually I had wondered if there was any difference between a cockerel and a rooster, now I know!

No, no, no... We all know that it's the Easter bunny who lays the eggs! (Gosh, it's that time of year already  )
