Sympathy please!

The wee man (9 months) and I (quite a bit more than 9 months) are quarantine with Suspected Oink Fever.... :pukeright:

Ellis is OK, so far. OH is fine but in work so, of course, Ellis is in enforced isolation as well. He's climbing the walls, Fin is puking, pooing and sneezing constantly, and I feel like I've been hit by a truck and then reversed over. Though, oddly, no 'cold' symptoms, just the other typical fluey type things

Got the Tamiflu yesterday - GP recommended treating Fin as well, despite his age. His Tamiflu solution smells suspiciously like Baileys.....

At least our temperatures are down from yesterday. Both kids sleeping ATM, don't think I'll be far behind them.

Has anyone else with kids under 5 had it?

It's horrible when they aren't well, luckily we haven't had any cases too close to us, the eldest boys schools have had cases, but they were last month so we would have got it by now if we were I think, although I do predict that the boys will get it as soon as we go on holiday, so our tent will be full of paracetamol (if they think I'm taking them home before I've seen hawkwind, they can think again  )

Hope you all get some decent rest, especially you, sick kids are bed enough without being ill yourself, and that you feel better soon

Sarahx

TBH, Red, I thought that too.......I didn't push for it at all, I told the GP I was happy with paracetamol of me / medinol for him if we needed it, but the GP thought it 'best' to get OH to drive halfway to the moon for Tamiflu.

I'd kinda feel guilty having it and not using it, IYSWIM.......

Fin seems a lot better after his sleep, anyway. He's currently sat in his highchair trying to cram a ricecake, a piece of toast AND the highchair tray in his mouth at the same time.

One hug for each of you - although, maybe better not, I don't want to get it!

Get better soon.
