Re: the bike
Fantastic!
You've even got front and rear mudguards! They don't come as standard anymore. One thing I have that you don't appear to have and I would recommend is a gel-filled saddle cover. Not only is it nice and squishy where you need it nice and squishy the most
but when I go to the allotment on my bike, if it looks like rain I just take the saddle cover off and put it in the shed until I'm ready to leave. No more wet bums!
When are you making yourself a trailer for the back?

there are many photos on flickr with them loaded with stuff , kids, boxes, chairs, other bikes, huge amount of stuff http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=xtracycle&w=all
now I am not saying buy one, but with a free bikes, a welder, a skateboard and some spare time someone could knock one together.

Re: the bike
I've got a bike,
you can ride it if you like,
it's got a basket & bell that rings
& stuff to make you look good (copyright).
I'd lend it to you if i could,
but i borrowed it.

it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

I've just started cycling to work too. It's about 10 miles and I'm loving it. Has anyone got any tips for commuting on a bike?

Re: the bike
Carry a simple puncture-repair kit & a pump. A puncture can be repaired much quicker than pushing the bike a few miles!!
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.
