I started some off at the beginning of the week and am in the process of bottling it. You really must make some - it's fantastic!

I am going to have a bash at this over the week end. A couple of questions please, do you use the recipe on this web page and does it only keep for a couple of weeks. I was hoping it kept fresh over some months. If it doesn't can I use old shop bought cordial bottles. I do have some old fashioned glass bottles that have the wire and seal on the top. All advice would be appreciated. Thanks

LazyDaisy, the recipe i tried from the site suggested freezing it so I took some empty 500 ml water bottle and used these to pop in the freezer.
I found it came out incredibly sweet when I made it. Is it possible to cut back on the sugar content?

All the recipes I have looked at are pretty much the same. As a novice at this I don't think you would be able to adjust the sugar content but if you find out I am wrong would you please let me know. Thanks

I think if you freeze it in smallish quantities then you could put less sugar in, as the sugar is acting as a preservative but you're preserving it by putting it in the freezer anyway.
