how can i stop my fish pond filling up with green algae all the time.
i have tried straw pellets from the garden centre dut they dont seem to work.

Do you have any plants in your pond? A few more oxygenating plant will help. It could also be down to waste materials in the bottom of your pond simply clean it out. It can also take up to 8 weeks for barley straw to become an active organic algaecide (if that is what you are using).
